The Career Guidance Unit of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) has successfully organized a series of undergraduate student awareness sessions on 12th March 2026 in collaboration with the United States–Sri Lanka Fulbright Commission. The sessions were conducted by a distinguished Fulbright Specialist Dr. Robert DeFinis from the United States, offering valuable international perspectives to SEUSL students. The programme was held at the SEUSL Library Auditorium, providing an ideal academic setting for interactive learning and engagement. The sessions focused on two key themes aimed at strengthening academic and professional readiness of the undergraduate students in SEUSL:

1. Strategic Use of American Educational Technology to Enhance Learning Outcomes and Workforce Readiness.
2. Best Practices from U.S. Higher Education Institutions in Leadership Development.

The university extends its sincere appreciations to Dr. Patrick McNamara, Executive Director, Board Member of the United States–Sri Lanka Fulbright Commission and Ms. Isa Spoerry, EducationUSA Adviser for arranging the visit of the Fulbright Specialist to the University, and their valuable presence and contributions during the sessions.
