Biosystems Technology Laboratories for Technology Faculty opened
The ceremonial opening of the Biosystems Technology Laboratories for Technology Faculty of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka was held recently (23rd October,2017) in the presence of the students of the Technology Faculty.
The ceremony presided over by the Dean of the Faculty Dr. MG Mohamed Tharique was attended by Vice Chancellor Prof. MMM Najim and declared open the Laboratory.
Addressing the Students Prof. Najim said that the laboratory is equipped with all modern apparatus and advised them that these should be utilized in a profitable way to enhance their knowledge to suit the modern scientific world. He also reminded that the Government has been spending a colossal sums of money to the students to develop their knowledge in order to prosper the country's welfare and go forward to compete in the modern world.
Head of the of the Biosystem Technology Dr. BGN.Sewwandi, Head of the Department of Information and technology SL Haleem, Senior Lecturers and other Officers were also present to grace the occasion.
