A Vehicle Parking Shed for staff serving in the Administrative Block of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka was declared open by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. MMM Najim on Friday (19^th August) in the presence of a large number of Academics and Administrative staff of the University.

Hitherto, the Academics and the Officers of this University had to park their vehicles in the open space exposing to sun, rain and other elements. The Parking shed which has been a long felt need of the University was constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.5 million.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Najim who declared open the shed by cutting a ribbon parked his vehicle firstly and inaugurated parking services.

Acting Registrar MI. Nawfer, Works Engineer MSM Fazeel, Deans, Heads of Departments and Administrative Staff of the University too were present at this occasion.
