Abdullah Al Mamun from Bangladesh, an International student of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka has attended the global summit "World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE)" which took place Nov 14-16, 2017 in Doha, Qatar under the theme "Co-Exist, Co-Create: Learning to work and live together". The theme reflects the commitment of WISE to address important education challenges in times of disruption and economic uncertainty stemming from conflict, mass migration, growing inequality, on-going, rapid technological change and other forces. Wise is the leading global initiative for innovation and collaboration in education. Abdullah Al Mamun has attended in number of international conferences and seminars previously which shows his leadership potential and thirst for the betterment of society. He is final year student of SEUSL, faculty of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language (specialized course in Islamic Banking & Finance). It may be noted that more than 2000 delegates from more than 100 countries participated in the program where these delegates (in the picture) played a major role as resource personnel for the braindate session showing concern on food wasting.
