Opening Ceremony of Taekwondo Gymnasium at South Eastern University of Sri Lanka

The ceremonial opening of Taekwondo Gymnasium and demonstration by SEUSL students and dragon Taekwondo Team were held at SEUSL Student Recreation Centre, South Eastern University of Sri Lanka recently.

The Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. MMM Najim who participated as chief guest at this event declared open the Gymnasium Centre.

The program began with the welcome address of Director and Unit Staff of the Physical Education and KOICA Volunteer Taekwondo Instructor Choi Yong Kyu. The special guest of ceremony KOICA Deputy Director Chon Gyongshick addressing at this meeting said that he was happy to see that Taekwondo has been vastly developed in this University and he would extend his fullest support for its further improvements and developments.

The highlights of the programme were the demonstration by the students at the centre followed by the student's cultural programmes.

Ampara Region Deputy Inspector General Nuwan Wedhasinghe, Deputy Registrar MI Nawfer, Director Student Support Services and Welfare Dr. Ramees Aboobucker and Acting Director M. Kadafi and KOICA Officers who graced the occasion presented were also present at the ceremony and gave the awards to thoase who excelled in Taekwo
