With the sole idea of enhancing educational activities of the undergraduates and Graduates of BBA and B.Com specialization Degree Programme at the Faculty of Management and Commerce of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, United Kingdom based CIMA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with South Eastern University of Sri Lanka.

A simple ceremony to mark the signing of the MOU was held at the Office of the Vice Chancellor of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka on Wednesday. A team of Officials headed by CIMA's Country Head - Sri Lanka Radley Stephen and the Vice Chancellor of the SEUSL Prof.MMM Najim, Registrar H Abdul Saththar, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Commerce Dr. S.Gunapalan, Head of the Department of Accountancy and Finance Dr. AL Abdul Rauf and other Senior lecturers were present.

Both Parties exchanged the ideas and views in a very cordial manner and the outcome of the programme was detailed at length before signing the MOU. Country Head Radley Stephen briefed the objective of the programme and said how the programme should be worked out.

Vice - Chancellor Prof. Najim in his address thanked the CIMA Officials for coming forward to select his University which is provided with all natural resources for the programme and anticipated the hope that the new partnership between the University and CIMA would give our Degree programme a big boost and demand specially the programme in accountancy. He hoped that his students would be benefited immensely and this programme would pave the way for their career development and also would make them highly qualified and professional.
