Note: Candidates must be a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Networking, ICT degree recognized by the University Grants Commission. Preference will be given to those who have teaching experience/ will be able to handle the practical session in Cryptography, Ethical Hacking, Routing and Switching Netwrok (CCNA), Embedded system, Digital Electronics, Platform Technology (Android, iOS, Unix, Linux, etc), Human Computer Interaction, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing. Those who have studied statistics as one of the major subjects in their degree also in one of will be given preference.

DEPARTMENT OF INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES
Post of Temporary Assistant Lecturer / Temporary Instructor in Mathematics
Note: Candidates must be graduates specialized in Mathematics with four year honours degree recognized by the University Grants Commission OR Engineering graduates with four year degree recognized by the University Grants Commission.
Qualifications:
Temporary Assistant Lecturer
(1) A Special Degree with specialisation in the relevant subject with First or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours awarded by a recognised University;
OR
(2) A Special Degree with specialisation in the relevant subject with Second Class (Lower Division) Honours awarded by a recognised University;
OR
(3) (a) A Special Degree with specialisation in the relevant subject without honours or any other degree with at least Second Class Honours awarded by a recognised University,
AND
*(b) (i) A Doctoral Degree in the relevant field
Or
(ii) A Masters Degree in the relevant field obtained after a full - time course of study of at least 24 months duration (or an equivalent part - time course of study) with a research component by way of thesis / dissertation.
Or
(iii) A full time Masters Degree in the relevant field of a minimum of 18 months duration with at least 60 credits * of which not less than 15 credits of research by way of thesis/ dissertation.
[* One credit considered per course unit / module should be in accordance with the Sri Lanka Qualifications Framework (SLQF)]
OR
(4) Such Academic or professional qualifications or professional experience as may be approved by the University Grants Commission upon the recommendation of the Higher Educational Institution concerned.
*(b) In the case of Faculties of Science/Applied Science/Engineering/Agriculture:
(i) A Doctoral Degree in the relevant field
Or
(ii) A Masters Degree in the relevant field with full time research of at least 24 months duration.
Temporary Demonstrator / Temporary Instructor
A Special Degree with specialisation in the relevant field with Class or Pass awarded by a recognized University.
