Post of Temporary Assistant Lecturer /Temporary Demonstrator in Information & Communication Technology.
Note: Candidates must be a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Networking, ICT degree recognized by the University Grants Commission. Preference will be given to those who have studied statistics as one of the major subjects in their degree, having experience in Distributed Cloud computing, Internet Application Development, Micro Controller System Programming and Multimedia and image processing.
DEPARTMENT OF BIOSYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY
Post of Temporary Assistant Lecturer /Temporary Demonstrator in Biosystems Technology.
Note: Candidates must be a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) graduates in Agriculture / Food Science & Technology /Agricultural Technology and Management or any other relevant degree.
Qualifications:
Senior Lecturer Grade I / Senior Lecturer Grade II

Temporary Assistant Lecturer /Temporary Demonstrator
(1) A Special Degree in with specialisation in the relevant subject with First or Second Class (Upper Division) Honours awarded by a recognised University;
OR
(2) A Special Degree in with specialisation in the relevant subject with Second Class (Lower Division) Honours awarded by a recognised University;
OR
(3) (a) A Special Degree in with specialisation in the relevant subject without honours or any other degree with at least Second Class Honours awarded by a recognised University,
AND
(b) (i) A Doctoral Degree in the relevant field
Or
(ii) A Masters Degree in the relevant field obtained after a full - time course of study of at least 24 months duration (or an equivalent part - time course of study) with a research component by way of thesis / dissertation.
Or
(iii) A full time Master degree in the relevant field of a minimum of 18 months duration with at least 60 credit units* of which not less than 15 credit units of research by way of thesis/ dissertation. [* A credit unit considered per course should be within the 'Definition of a Credit' given in sub-section 2.2 of the Sri Lanka Qualifications Framework (SLQF)]
OR
(4) Such Academic or professional qualifications or professional experience as may be approved by the University Grants Commission upon the recommendation of the Higher Educational Institution concerned.
