Academic Staff of the Faculty of Arts and Culture were provided with Laptops under World Bank's (IDAS) Improvements Development of Arts and Culture Students Project recently.

A simple ceremony to mark the handing over of these Laptops to the recipients presided over by the Dean of the Faculty MA Jabbar at FAC's Conference Hall, Vice Chancellor Prof. MMM Najim participated as Chief Guest and issued the Laptops.

Speaking to the Heads and Lecturers at this ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Najim said that he is happy to note that several programmers are being launched to enhance the academic activities of the Faculty and issuing these Laptops is a big boon to the lecturers who had hitherto been undergoing hardships in imparting their lectures and practical. Vice Chancellor thanked the World Bank for coming forward to assist our lecturers. He also requested the Lecturers to take the maximum benefit out of these laptops by which a student community with a revolutionary changes can be expected.

Dean Jabbar said that a sum of Rs. 16 million has been set apart by the World Bank under this programme for the improvements of technical, English and soft skills of the teaching staff and the students of the faculty and to streamline the activities.
