Speaking at this ceremony the Vice Chancellor Prof. MMM Najim who participated as chief guest regretted that the interest our students show in watching Face books or reading twitters are not shown by reading newspapers or books either related to their subjects or literary interest. This mentality should be changed henceforth and we all must determine to read at our leisure in order to develop our knowledge.

Continuing further Prof.Najim said that our elders used libraries during their leisure and developed their knowledge at a time when computers or electronic Medias were not in use. Now we have all resources and our Libraries are equipped with all types' books including encyclopedia in volumes, but our students are not making use of them. Our student's attendance in Libraries are very poor although it is well equipped. At this juncture he also quoted the Holy Quran's first sentence staring with "Iqrah" which means recite or read. So we all must concentrate in reading and make use of the library to their maximum understanding the fact that reading makes a full man. So, our students must start reading from today itself, he said.
