Two Workshops on the theme "National Unity and Reconciliation through Higher Education" organized by the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation (ONUR) housed in the Faculty of Engineering of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka was held at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Engineering on Sunday.
The Workshop held under the auspicious SEUSL Coordinator Eng. MB Murshid was attended by 87 students in three groups where the subjects on National Unity and Reconciliation was analyzed in length including practical theories. Lecturers S. Pratheep and S. it may be noted that by virtue of the Memorandum of Understanding penned down in the midst of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Office for National Unity and Reconciliation (ONUR), six university faculties have been pronounced as to the Model Faculties for Reconciliation in the context of Sri Lanka ever since circa late 2017 and the Faculty of Engineering, South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL) is a Faculty for the such. This is the only Non-Arts Faculty in the aforementioned list onto be in reconciliatory goings-on albeit being an Engineering Faculty. This indeed enriches the modern world's inter and multi-disciplinary co-existence to the better of the whole universe.
