The Staff Development Centre (SDC) is responsible for planning and conducting training, workshops, and development programmes to enhance academic, administrative, and professional skills of university staff.

Academic, administrative, non-academic, executive, and support staff of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka are eligible to participate in SDC programmes.

Certain programmes such as induction and in-service training are mandatory, while others are optional based on professional development needs.

Yes. The SDC conducts IT literacy programmes, teaching and learning workshops, leadership training, communication skills, and other soft skill development programmes.
