The launch of 'Online Journal' by FIA a great success
The ceremonial launch of "Online Journal" organised by the Faculty of Islamic Strudies and Arabic Language of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka was held at the FIA Auditorium on Wednesday (2nd May) in a grandeur manner.
The ceremony presided over by the Dean of the Faculty Dr.SMM Mazahir was attended by a large number of academics including Deans, Registrar H.Abdul Saththar and Heads of departments. Welcome address and introductoery address was delivered by Former Dean and Chief Editor MSM Jalaldeen.
Addressing the gathering after the ceremonial launch of "Online Journal" Dean Dr.Mazahir said that the launch of an "On line Journal" in an University is vital important and those who are interested in developing their knowledge can make use of this Journal as a tool to widening their knowledge. He also added that this is one of a few Universities that functions in an efficient way. Hence, he requested the staff and also to the students engage themselves in this activity and enhance in their abilities to go in par with the advancing science revolutionary that are being taking place now. Finally he thanked those who worked hard to make this endeavor a success.
