5th Undergraduate Colloquium - 2017 a boost to young graduates
The 5th Undergraduate Colloquium organized by the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Arabic language of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka was held at FIA Auditorium on Friday.
The program chaired by the Dean FIA As- Sheikh SMM Mazahir was attended by Head of Departments, Asst. Registrars and Lectures.
Addressing the students at this Colloquium Dean As.Sheikh Mazahir stressed the importance of participating in colloquium and how it turning a student to motivate in research activities. It's a common feature in every developing University that more interest is shown by the young graduates in this venture. Hence he appealed to all students to constructively participate in this venture and assured that the University is prepared to extend its all support to them in whatever possible way.
Four panel discussions on four themes on research papers were analyzed in the presence of University Senior and efficient lecturers. It is informed that altogether 31 research papers were submitted for his colloquium.
Program Coordinator Dr. AR. Nazar delivered welcome address and Sectretary MT Habeebullah proposed vote of thanks.
