A Successful Colloquium


"The colloquium of this nature will definitely boost the young graduates and always induce their curricular ventures in furtherance their activities. Hence, all graduate students should actively engage in the colloquium and engage in research activities, only then their mission of education be fulfilled."

Said Prof. Ramees Abdullah, Head of the Tamil Department of the Faculty of Arts and Culture of South Eastern University when he was addressing as the key-note speaker at 4th Under-graduate Colloquium organized by the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language at the FIA Auditorium Monday.

Dean Ash Sheikh SMM Mazahir chaired the Colloquium and the welcome address was delivered by the Co-ordinator of the program MHM Nairoos.

Continuing further Prof. Ramees Abdullah said that this is the only Faculty created as Islamic Studies and Arabic Language in Sri Lanka and this should constructively engage in research activities in the relevant field. This Faculty paves the way for the interested young graduates to continue their educational and research activities. So one should always engage he or her selves, if they are to prosper in their respective field. Hence, he appealed to all young graduates to engage themselves in research activities and devote their times in this venture.

Research papers from 13 Graduat students were submitted and were to be processed by the Pannel assigned.
