Focal Point

Focal point of SERLIN is South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL). Libraries of SEUSL are fully fledged libraries with enriched collections of print and electronic resources, modern information services, ample space, professionally qualified Library academics, paraprofessionals, digital library system, Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) and automated Library Management system.

Member Libraries

Member libraries of SERLIN are categorized under 3 groups. SEUSL libraries will be the main focal point. Types of Libraries are as follows.

1. College Libraries: In this category, Technical colleges, SLIATE, Teachers Training College, College of Education and Vocational Training Centres (VTC) will be considered.
2. Public Libraries: Leading public libraries and public libraries that representing each villages under municipalities and Predeshya Sabas of Ampara district.
3. Leading School Libraries, National & IAB schools of each villages Each member libraries have to complete the required information and sign in the agreement format, if they wish to become a member of the Network.

• Four leading school libraries in the Akkaraipattu Zone
• Four leading school libraries in the Sammanthurai Zone
• Four leading school libraries in the Thirukkovil Zone
• Four leading school libraries in the Ampara Zone
• Four leading school libraries in the Dehiyathankndy Zone
