All submitted manuscripts will be undergoing initial screening process to see the originality of the work as well as relevance and contribution. SLJoT does not encourage any form of plagiarism and duplicate submissions. Therefore, we strongly recommend our authors to thorough check of the article content before submitting it to our journal for publication. We request our Authors to use "Plagiarism Checking software’s" to check plagiarism prior to submission as a preliminary step. We encourage the authors to limit the similarity index to be below 15% of their submissions and beyond that limit will be rejected. To save time for authors and peer-reviewers, only those papers that seem most likely to meet our editorial criteria will be sent for formal review. Those papers judged by the editors to be of insufficient general interest or otherwise inappropriate will be rejected promptly without peer review (although these decisions may be based on informal advice from specialists in the field). Manuscripts judged to be of potential interest to our readership will be forwarded to for formal review, typically to two reviewers, but sometimes more if special advice is needed (for example on statistics or a particular technique). The double-blind peer review will be conducted by the local or international editorial board members of the journal or other specialists of equal repute. Reviewers are required to reveal any potential conflicts of interests that may affect their ability to provide an unbiased review of an article. The editors then make a decision based on the reviewers' advice, from among several possibilities:
