13th International Symposium – 2025

“Navigating Technology Transformation for Sustainable Development: Bridging Sciences, Technologies, and Humanities”

IntSym 2025

The South Eastern University of Sri Lanka is delighted to announce its 13th International Symposium (IntSym2025).

The theme “Navigating Technology Transformation for Sustainable Development: Bridging Sciences, Technologies, and Humanities” invites scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to reflect on how the transformative power of technology can be harnessed to foster a sustainable world—one that harmonizes innovation with the well-being of the planet and its inhabitants. From renewable energy breakthroughs to advancements in artificial intelligence, technology holds immense promise for addressing global sustainability challenges. Yet, realizing this potential requires more than technical innovation; it demands ethical foresight, thoughtful integration, and the wisdom of the humanities to ensure technology serves humanity's greater good.

Bridging the sciences, technologies, and humanities provides an essential framework for evaluating the broader implications of technological progress. How can we achieve technological innovation that is environmentally sound, socially responsible, and culturally inclusive? How can ethics, governance, and human values guide the development and deployment of technologies to ensure they contribute to a sustainable and equitable future for all.

IntSym2025 is open for full papers from researchers and research scholars. This is an excellent opportunity to present your research findings. The abstracts of accepted full papers will be published in the conference proceedings, and the downloadable full papers will be available in the library e-repository of SEUSL. Selected papers will be published in the journals of the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka.
