Dear Sir / Madam,

Application for University Research Grants

As you know, the Senate at its 159th meeting held on 20.01.2016 approved the Regulations governing the award of University Research Grant which is to be implemented from the year 2016. Accordingly applications are invited from the members of the permanent academic staff of the University for Research Grant. The closing date for submission of applications to Deans of respective faculties /Librarian shall be end of February. Each applicant for a research grant shall complete the application form (Form RIC 02AP) and submit three signed copies of the application on or before the closing date to the Dean of the Faculty through the Head of the Department / Librarian. The Dean/ Librarian shall forward all applications to the Chairperson, Faculty / Library Research Management Committee within one week from the closing date of applications to be tabled at the RMC for evaluation.

I shall be thankful if you kindly bring this to the notice of all academic staff members of the Faculty/ Library as early as possible. Soft copies of application form for University Research Grants and the Regulations governing the award of University Research Grant can be downloaded from University website.
