The Quality Assurance & Accreditation Council (QAAC) of the UGC conducted a Workshop to Review Progress of the Internal Quality Assurance Units of State Universities on 30th March 2016 at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute from 9.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. All Directors of IQAUs of Universities and all Faculty coordinators were invited to this workshop. Prof Mohan de Silva, Chairman/UGC and Prof P S M Gunaratne, Vice Chairman/UGC addressed the participants and highlighted the significance of quality assurance in higher education and the role of the IQAUs in Universities.
