The Sri Lankan Journal of Arabic and Islamic Studies (SLJAIS) is an internationally refereed online journal (e-ISSN 2550 - 3014) published by faculty of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language (FIA), South Eastern University of Sri Lanka (SEUSL). SLJAIS is an Open Access Journal that users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles. The journal publishes research articles covering all aspects of Arabic and Islamic Studies. and Muslim contemporary issues. Founded in 2018, SLJAIS published in March, June, September and December annually. It is a platform for authors around the world to share their scholarly works and experience.

The aim of the Sri Lankan Journal of Arabic and Islamic Studies (SLJAIS) is to encourage scholarly research in Arabic and Islamic Studies and Muslim contemporary issues. SLJAIS provides a venue for academics, and researchers to publish current and significant research works. The specific objectives of the journal are: Offering a forum for publishing high quality research on Arabic and Islamic Studies, providing new ideas and philosophical findings regarding current Arabic and Islamic studies problems and promoting greater knowledge sharing between various scholars in Arabic and Islamic Studies around the world.
