13^th South Eastern University International Arts Research Symposium-2027

The Faculty of Arts and Culture of South Eastern University of Sri Lanka is pleased to announce its 13th International Symposium (SEUIARS 2027) under the theme “Navigating the AI Era: Interdisciplinary Perspectives Across Humanities and Social Sciences.” The symposium will be held on 16 March 2027 at the Faculty of Technology, South Eastern University of Sri Lanka, Oluvil, Sri Lanka.

This symposium provides a valuable academic platform for researchers, academics, professionals, practitioners, and postgraduate researchers to present their research findings and scholarly contributions on the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies across the humanities and social sciences. Contributions addressing the social, cultural, economic, political, educational, linguistic, technological, environmental, and ethical dimensions of the AI era are particularly encouraged.

The symposium welcomes original, unpublished extended abstracts that contribute to interdisciplinary academic dialogue, critical inquiry, responsible innovation, and human-centred approaches to technological transformation. Accepted extended abstracts will be published in the SEUIARS 2027 Book of Abstracts with an ISBN.

The symposium will feature a keynote address by Prof. (Dr.) Ralph Palliam, Professor of Financial Economics at the American University of Kuwait (AUK), alongside scholarly presentations that encourage knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the development of future research networks.

Researchers and interested participants are invited to submit their extended abstracts in accordance with the symposium's submission guidelines.

Authors are kindly requested to send soft copies of the full paper in both Word and PDF formats to the following email ID only. Manuscripts will be reviewed by a panel of reviewers in the relevant disciplines.
